Plenary and intersessional meetings
Kimberley Process (KP) plenary sessions take place once a year. These meetings bring together all participating countries, industry representatives and civil society members, providing an opportunity for discussions and decisions regarding the implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). Final communiqués outlining the decisions and events of the meeting are made public and posted in the documents section of this website.
In addition to the plenary meeting, members of KP working groups also gather during the yearly ‘intersessional’ meeting to discuss technical issues specific to their group (statistics, monitoring…).
