Working Group on Artisanal and Alluvial Production (WGAAP)
The role of the WGAAP is to address issues of alluvial artisanal producing Participants’ particular concerns about their overall compliance with the implementation of section IV (Internal Controls) of the KPCS Core Document, by promoting specific measures for more effective internal controls over alluvial artisanal production, and by promoting development initiatives for guarantee of artisanal responsibly mined diamonds, for improving communities’ living standards and for mitigating development constraints.
